On June 11th, 2026, J S Pre-University College – Red Cross Unit
In association with VCN Doctors association organized a comprehensive school-health initiative titled “VCN Goes to School.” Hosted at the J S PU and Degree College, Mallathahalli, the program was designed as a “Health Awareness Program for Students,” specifically targeting the pressing physiological, psychological, and behavioral challenges faced by modern adolescents.
The occasion was graced by doctor Bhojamma , President, VCN Doctors Welfare Association, Dr Preeth Shetty (Consultant Pediatrician), Dr. Chethana , Dr Harbeer Shetter and Dr Mahesh (Consultant Pediatrician)
Dr. Vijay Herbishettar (Consultant Psychiatrist) addressed the students regarding the ground level problem faced by an adolescent and the positive ways to handle them. He emphasized on taking help from parents or elders in times of conflict in their taughts.
Dr. Kishore Baindoor (Consultant Paediatric) spoke about the negative effect excessive screen time. He also emphasized on Digital Decipline that should be followed for a healthy lifestyle.
Dr. Jayaprakash Ittigi (Consultant Dental Surgeon) spoke about the dental health related with general health
